This ring is handmade and finished with an old-style of hand buffing. It is made with two pieces of twisted wire and the stone is encased in a classic bezel setting. This piece is designed and handmade by Erick Begay.

White Buffalo--also known as White Buffalo Turquoise--is a gemstone that is mined in northern Nevada- and sometimes Utah. It was presumed to be turquoise and often sold as such; however; its classification is magnesite and alumite. White Buffalo is often very striking -as it contains dark brown and black matrix. It is a hard stone; equivelent to turquoise. it is rated a 5-6 on the Mohs hardness scale. Stones will vary from piece to piece.
